The U.S. Women in Coffee Association (USWIC) is pleased to host the International Women's Coffee Alliance (IWCA) Networking Breakfast at the 2027 National Coffee Association Convention in Austin, Texas!
Join us for a morning of meaningful connections, industry insights, and conversation with coffee professionals from across the supply chain.
This year's breakfast features a timely discussion about one of the most rapidly evolving technologies shaping business and industry: artificial intelligence.
Featured Keynote: From Crop to Cup: What AI Means for the Coffee Industry
Dr. Balaji Padmanabhan Associate Dean of Strategic Initiatives Director, Center for Artificial Intelligence in Business University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business
From unpredictable weather and shifting global markets to changing consumer expectations, the coffee supply chain faces a complex set of challenges. How can artificial intelligence help the industry navigate this complexity while maintaining the quality, consistency, and variety consumers expect?
Dr. Padmanabhan will explore the capabilities and opportunities of modern AI across the coffee supply chain, from production to the final cup. He'll also share practical considerations for industry leaders navigating technology investments, AI governance, and workforce development.
With 25 years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and business analytics, Dr. Padmanabhan brings valuable expertise to a conversation about the opportunities and challenges ahead for our industry.
